Springtide Bloom

Springtide Bloom

Regular price $6.00 Sale

This light, amber colored honey is our first of the season.  Its flavor accent is fruity and has a tropical floral bouquet.  The honey consists of nectar collected from Mangos, Avocados, Lychees and other tropical trees such as Oranges, Lemons, Limes, Bananas, Guavas and Star Fruit, to name a few.

The season of Spring on Marco Island comes early most years.  It is marked by cool mornings, warm afternoons and Springtides.  The Springtides bring a rush of water into the estuaries that surround this beautiful island filling it with new life.  It also marks the time of year most trees begin to bloom.  On Marco Island, the fruit trees burst with flowers filling the air with a soft, sweet Jasmine like scent.  The perfume is produced by the many fruit trees found around the island such as Mangos, Avocados, Lychees and many other tropical trees.   This is by far the honey bees favorite time of the year.  They are hungry and energized by the fantastic weather and the abundance of food.  It also our favorite time of the year as we can enjoy the entire day working and playing with the bees.  The honey produced during this time of year is excellent and can be used anyway you like. Try some, you won’t be disappointed…
